We farm with wine, olives, Red Angus Cattle, Wheat and Oats.   As you can gather there is an abundance of activity on the farm. We are situated 5km from the historic town of Tulbagh and an hour and 15 minutes from Cape Town off the R46.   The farm is 200 Hectares in size and is surrounded by the Witzenberg and Winterhoek Mountain Ranges.
Eikelaan is a dream come true for Fanie Fourie, born and bred in Gauteng. As a young boy growing up in the city of Gauteng, he used to spend most of his school holidays on a sheep farm of relatives, in the Karoo. It is there that the seed was sown and today he is the proud owner of Eikelaan. He purchased the much neglected farm in 2000.
His first objective, after purchasing the farm, was to appoint a manager, as he is a property developer in Cape Town. He contacted a university friend, who was ever so keen to accept the challenge of managing the farm for him. As the farm was very neglected, it was extremely time consuming and labour intensive to get it up and running.
The farm offers accommodation in the form of self catering cottages. It offers you the opportunity to re-charge your batteries by breaking away from reality for a totally relaxing and rejuvenating stay in the scenic surroundings.
